Romain Grosjean says that this year's Haas is much different to the 2019 effort, as he hopes for a better season than his 2019 nightmare. Grosjean only managed to score eight points in 2019, but he seems more confident ahead of the upcoming season.

The Frenchman completed the most laps on day one of the second test but is not in the car on Thursday as Kevin Magnussen has his turn in the new machinery.

Following their Wednesday running, Grosjean told media including GPBlog.com that the car is not at the level it could be, but the team are not worried: "We tried a lot during the test and did not work specifically on a setup for the job. It is therefore not surprising that it is not all perfect, but I am not worried about that yet. The car is very different from 2019 and that is positive.

"I am very happy with what the team made of it. The basis of the car is now very good and that is important. Because if that basis is good, then you can push much further and develop the car more easily."
