Claire Williams on her team's three breakdowns: "At least it’s not our issue"
Williams have been struck with engine issues during testing. All three of their breakdowns have come from the power unit, the Mercedes part of the car. Williams is disappointed with what's happened but is also pleased that the issues aren't her teams fault.
It's been frustrating but Williams are now back on track and Russell is clocking up the laps. The team will hope that this is the end of the issues that they have with the PU.
"A few engine problems, which is a little frustrating," Claire Williams said in reflection of testing. "We’re on our third engine issue now, which has obviously cost us quite a lot of track time, which is unfortunate.
"I suppose at least it’s not our issue, [it's not] that something’s gone wrong with the car."
.@WilliamsRacing deputy team principal Claire Williams frustrated with Latifi's oil systems issue today as it's the third time something brome on the FW43's power unit (Mercedes) side of things. Still very positive re actual performance on track#F1 #F1Testing pic.twitter.com/y0GGM4zPx1

Williams have looked good in testing apart from the breakdowns and will hope that this means that they will be more competitive in 2020.
