Alex Albon admits RB16 feels even better than it did in last week's test

Red Bull Racing driver Alexander Albon has admitted the RB16 is already feeling better than it did during last week's first test, despite having suspension problems in the car this morning, that heavily disrupted the driver's session.
Albon spent the majority of the morning in hospitality as he waited for his RB16 to be fixed, as it suffered a suspension issue, which initially looked like it could've been an engine problem with the Honda power unit.
"We found something that we didn't want, and that was pretty much it. We spent most of the morning in hospitality drinking coffee... Red Bull... Red Bull," Albon joked.
"It's frustrating but we did so many laps already last week. We're on a good foot, we haven't really fallen behind. Max is in the car in the afternoon. I think everything is not too bad.
"Even though we did a few laps, the car is feeling good, already feeling better than it was last week. We can't really speak too much but it's feeling good. We're trying some stuff out, as this week is more of a performance week than the week before."
Spoke to Alex Albon after his morning of #F1Testing. Confirmed it was a rear suspension issue. Added the car felt better and quicker than last week, hence the 1:17.5 on the C2 tyre.

Albon also believes, despite the Red Bull looking really promising, that last season's champions Mercedes are perhaps hiding something in terms of their performance and we can expect a lot more from the Silver Arrows.
"The car is feeling really good. We've already made some steps from last week, so we're going in the right direction, but it's still only winter testing, so I'm sure the Mercs are playing it down a bit, so we'll see," Albon added.
