Nicolas Hamilton: "I came close to a reality where my career might be over"
Lewis Hamilton might take all the headlines when it comes to being a Hamilton in motorsport, but his brother Nicolas will make his debut in the GT class.
Nicolas will ride for the 'HARD Racing' team and will team up with Jack Goff, Mike Bushell, and Carl Boardley and is excited to get started, especially when he thought his career might be over.
"Last year was so challenging for me that I came close to a reality where my career might be over," he told Chequered Flag.
"But people around me kept me focused and cheerful, and I'm now in the right place to start a new chapter behind the wheel."
A very proud brother
Nicolas' brother and six-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton took to social media to congratulate his brother on the latest step of his career.
"I'm so proud of your brother. You've done this alone and you've earned it to race this year. You inspire so many people and I am proud to call you my brother. On the best year so far for you. Keep shining your bright light and never give up. Love!" Hamilton said on Twitter.
