Ferrari set to be sued for 2020 livery!
Ferrari could be sued for their 2020 livery by Italian consumer group Codacons over the Mission Winnow branding on their new car. Ferrari have previously been in trouble for this branding with some people believing it is subliminal tobacco advertising.
Tobacco sponsors in F1 are banned and Mission Winnow is owned by tobacco company Philip Morris and whilst Mission Winnow is not directly associated with the tobacco industry, it is believed to be subliminal advertising.
Because of this, Codacons want to sue Ferrari and even seize the car that was unveiled on Tuesday.
Codacons president Carlo Rienzi told AutoMoto: "Strengthened by the decision of the ministry that confirms us across the board, we will start legal proceedings against Ferrari.
"We will also ask for the new 'SF1000' single seater that was presented yesterday in Reggio Emilia to be seized."
