Robert Kubica has confirmed his future ahead of the 2020 season. In addition to his role as a test driver at Alfa Romeo, Kubica will also be competing in the DTM in 2020. The Pole left Williams after a disappointing 2019 and makes the switch to ART where he will hope to be more competitive.

There was lots of rumors about Kubica's future but it has now been confirmed that he will drive for the BMW customer team in 2020. ART is a well-known name in the world of motorsport. The team helped George Russell and Nyck de Vries win titles in Formula 2 and is now also in the highest category of DTM.

Kubica made it clear that he wanted to race in DTM and he is pleased to now confirm he will race in the series. ''The DTM has attracted me for a long time and since my test in Jerez I had hoped that it would come true. I am really looking forward to this new step in my career. I believe the DTM is among the best classes in the world and I would like to show myself there," Kubica said to Motorsport.com.

Kubica will hope to have a more competitive season and not spend all his time at the back of the grid like he did last year in Formula 1.
