Kamui Kobayashi helps team take Daytona 24 hour victory!
Former F1 driver Kamui Kobayashi helped his team to victory in the Daytona 24 hours race for a second year in a row alongside Scott Dixon, Ryan Briscoe and Renger van der Zande. Kobayashi's team, driving for Wayne Taylor Racing, finished over a minute ahead of the nearest competitor.
The Japanese driver raced for Toyota, Sauber and Caterham in his F1 career, claiming an emotional podium at his home race at Suzuka in 2012.
It was the third time in the last four events that Wayne Taylor Racing had taken the victory and Kobayashi drove home the last three hours to secure the win.
Team manager Wayne Taylor said: “This team, the drivers, when they come into this little team of ours, they are so focused and so passionate about winning and fortunately we are really bad losers."
