Formula 1 already travels all over the world but could the pinnacle of motorsport be set to add another location to the calendar? Reports are suggesting Saudi Arabia could be in line for a race in 2021.

Reports from the Daily Mail are suggesting that the race could be introduced as early as 2021 in the form of a Jeddah street race before a purpose-built track is built for 2022. With Miami also set to be confirmed for 2021 it remains to be seen if they will introduce two brand new races in 2021.

Saudi Arabia is a growing presence in the world of sport. They recently hosted the Spanish Super Cup as well as the boxing fight between Andy Ruiz Jr and Anthony Joshua which featured a stadium built for the event. Other events include WWE, which featured Tyson Fury and the Saudi Cup horse race.
