Robert Kubica brought a lot of money with him when he raced for Williams last season. Polish sponsor PKN Orlen were a major source of income for the team but left along with Kubica at the end of the season. However, rumor has it that there are not the only sponsor to be leaving as reportedly Rexona have not extended their contract.

Sportowe Fakty announced that Omnitude and Tata recently left along with the Polish sponsor of Kubica (Orlen), but there is more bad news now. According to the Polish media outlet, Rexona have not extended their contract for 2020, ending their cooperation early.

Rexona have been a presence in Formula for a long time and switched from Lotus to Williams in 2015. The deal with Rexona is reported to be worth fifteen million euros a year, making it the biggest sponsor at the team after Rokit.

It is not all doom and gloom for Williams though. Rich businessman Michael Latifi's son Nicholas is to start racing for them in 2020 and will prop up the team financially but Williams knew they can't rely on that having had Lawrence Stroll just walk away in the past to find a different team.

The future for Williams is uncertain and the only way they can dig themselves out of the hole they are in is to start performing to attract some bigger sponsors.
