Max Verstappen has been speaking about F1 legend Niki Lauda who passed away earlier this year, following a highly successful F1 career which included three world titles.

The Austrian died at the age of 70 in May of this year and Verstappen has huge amounts of respect for him

"As much as Niki has achieved in his life, I also hope to be able to experience it," Verstappen told ServusTV .

"He lived there for an I have a lot of respect for that, A nice and open person. I think it has not only been a big loss for Austria.

Verstappen is yet to win a world championship but is well on his way to grow his reputation as a driver after finishing third in the drivers' standings in this season.
