Kubica admits Abu Dhabi was probably his last race
Robert Kubica has admitted given that he isn't in and around the Formula 1 paddock anymore, there's a high chance the 2019 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be his last race.
Kubica returned to the pinnacle in motorsport for the 2019 season in what looked to be a fairytale return following his near-fatal rally crash. However, it quickly turned sour for him at Williams as the team found themselves well off the pace of the rest of the field. Earlier this year Williams confirmed Kubica would be leaving after just one year despite scoring their only point.
With the Polish driver now looking for a drive in another series he admits he may not drive in F1 again but didn't rule it out entirely.
“Of course if in the future I will not be in the paddock then there is very slim chance," Kubica said as quoted by RaceFans.
"If I will be in the paddock everything might happen.
“But as I say I am keeping my feet on the ground and realistically there is much higher chance that this was last race than I will race again. This is, I think, a realistic overview.”
