David Coulthard confident Beitske Visser has the potential to reach F1

Former British F1 driver David Coulthard has admitted that he thinks Beitske Visser has a good chance of reaching the main grid in the future. Visser made her comeback in the W Series last year, only scoring ten points fewer than Britain's Jamie Chadwick.
Next year, she aims to fight for the title which could help to earn points towards earning points for the super license which is required to drive in F1.
“I think we're talking about consistency. Jamie was slightly more constant at the start of the season. But Beitske has the speed and focus," Coulthard told Motorsport.com.
"Whether I think Beitske has the potential? That absolutely.
"We cannot drive the cars for them, they still have to do that ourselves, but we can offer them a platform that generates attention and opportunities.
"They can then choose for themselves whether they want to continue in formula cars or go for a career in sports cars or touring cars. They may know that for themselves. We are not about their career. We just want to give them a chance.”
The 2020 W Series begins on the weekend of the 29 to 31 May on Igora Drive, just outside St Petersburg.
