Preview: 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix - Start times, odds and predictions!
- Bobby Vincent
We enter the penultimate race of the 2019 Formula 1 season, as our attentions turn to South America and the biggest country in the continent; Brazil. Interlagos is a huge fan favourite and last season, it produced a fascinating race!
Last Season
Max Verstappen looked like he was cruelly denied a remarkable victory in Brazil, after a collision with the lapped Esteban Ocon, that allowed Lewis Hamilton a way through to go on and win the race.
Hamilton's victory secured Mercedes' fifth successive Constructors' Championship. Verstappen and Ocon collided right at the start of Lap 44 at Turn 1, with the Frenchman on the outside of the Dutchman before the pair touched and they were both sent into a spin.
Ocon was handed a 10-second penalty for the incident and had to settle for P14, with Verstappen still able to finish in second-place but was left furious with the incident.
So furious, in fact, he remarkably approached Ocon at the end of the race and shoved the Force India driver, after a lengthy bit of dialogue between the pair beforehand.

What to expect this year
Four of the last five seasons at Interlagos have been Mercedes victories and it would be a brave move to bet against that on Sunday, with the Silver Arrows absolutely flying once again following somewhat of a blip in the second half of the season.
It will be intriguing to see what happens with Ferrari at the weekend, with such scrutiny hanging over Scuderia at the moment following questions of their power unit's legality after the United States Grand Prix.
Red Bull showed excellent pace in Brazil last season, and they'll be desperate to add to their tally of two wins in 2019, with just two more races to go in the season, and Verstappen will be looking for revenge after last season's unfortunate events.
