Andreas Seidl: "We're prepared and focused on performing at 100 percent in Austin"
Andreas Seidl is hopeful that McLaren can improve on their poor results at the Mexican Grand Prix and get back in the points this weekend at the United States Grand Prix.
“After a Sunday to forget in Mexico, we head north to the US in anticipation of an exciting race," Seidl said in his race preview. "We’re looking to learn from last weekend and come back stronger for the final three races. We know that the Constructors’ is not done until its done, so we need to keep it in our hands as we see the season out.
“A back-to-back always poses operational challenges, especially at the fly-aways, but we’re prepared and focused on performing at 100 percent in Austin.”
Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris have performed well so far and McLaren are comfortably going to finish the season as 'best of the rest.' They will hope to continue to impress in the final stint of this championship and that they can build on their strong foundations next season.
