Mercedes could reach 100 Formula 1 victories at Mexico Grand Prix
- Bobby Vincent
If Lewis Hamilton or Valtteri Bottas win at the Mexican Grand Prix this upcoming weekend, it will be Mercedes' 100th Formula 1 victory, and become just the fourth team to reach that total.
Ferrari, Williams and McLaren are the other constructors to have reached a century of Grand Prix victories and the Silver Arrows could become just the fourth team to achieve that milestone with a victory in Mexico City at the weekend.
The Mexican Grand Prix will be a fortnight after Mercedes won their sixth successive Constructors' title and in a season where they have already broken so many records, they could reach another one at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
The last time a team did reach 100 victories was 22 years ago, when Jacques Villeneuve recorded Williams their 100th win at the 1997 British Grand Prix on his way to his only Drivers' Championship.
