Charles Leclerc has had an impressive second Formula 1 season. He has battled with the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel and often comes out on top. The young Ferrari driver sees himself as being more like Hamilton due to the fact that they both have other interests outside of Formula 1 to keep them busy.

Leclerc has followed in Hamilton's footsteps and is setting up a clothing line. He believes that having something else to focus on helps switch off after the race.

"Like Lewis, I'm about to start my own clothing line, it's something I wanted to do for a long time," Leclerc told Morotorsport.com.

"On this front, I am more like Lewis, I like to test myself on other fronts: it is an approach that helps me to switch off after the race weekends."

Despite seeing himself in a similar way to his Mercedes rival, Leclerc is his own man and is in some ways very different to Hamilton.

"I analyse everything I do to see if I can do better, that's how I grew over the years. When I put the car on the wall, as in Germany, I immediately understand that it's my fault, I can only take it out on myself.

"To grow you must understand and admit your mistakes, it is an approach that works for me, it is not necessarily the same for everyone."

Ferrari have been fast after the summer break and Leclerc will hope for more opportunities to fight with Hamilton in the future.
