Big problems at Williams? Kubica: "I could say something but it might be wrong"
Robert Kubica was confused when Williams opted to retire him after his teammate crashed into the wall on lap 28 of the Russian Grand Prix. Dave Robson, Senior Race Engineer at Williams says the reason was to "conserve parts ahead of the intense flyaway races which end the season".
"I don't understand that decision. My goal was to finish all the races. I don't understand the decision, I could stay out on the track. It's my worst weekend in F1. Finishing all races was my main goal. Unfortunately, I won't achieve it," the Polish driver told Eleven Sports TV.
"I could say something, but it might be wrong, so better not to say anything. We are not in an easy situation and Japan is around the corner."
Williams have spent another full season at the back of the grid. The team have scored eight points across the last 18 months. And now it seems as if a lack of cash is causing some even bigger issues.
