Alexander Albon is set to start the Russian Grand Prix from the pitlane following his qualifying crash on Saturday forced Red Bull to change to a different spec floor to replace the damaged previous floor.
Albon hit the wall at Turn 13 in Q1 at Sochi, bringing out the red flag. The British-born Thai driver was already going to start at the back of the grid after Honda provided Red Bull with a new Spec 4 engine this weekend.
The FIA have confirmed this morning that the Formula 1 rookie has had the floor replaced on his RB15. With Albon already having to start from the pitlane because of this, Red Bull have taken the chance to add further new components to his car.
He will have a new gearbox, a new turbocharger, MGU-H and MGU-H in the engine.
