Mercedes unhappy: "We have to get our act together" for Singapore Grand Prix

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff was left very unhappy after qualifying on Saturday evening in Singapore, as the Austrian admits his side have to "get our act together" ahead of the Grand Prix on Sunday.
Although Lewis Hamilton qualified on the front row for the Silver Arrows, it perhaps masked some of the issues with one-lap pace Mercedes showed on Saturday. After the initial run in Q3, both Hamilton, as well as teammate Valtteri Bottas, were a full second behind provisional pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel.
Somehow, Hamilton improved by eight-tenths in the final shoot-out to beat Vettel to P2 as he will line up on the front row next to in-form Charles Leclerc, although Bottas was left behind in P5. The Finn was still almost a second slower than Leclerc's pole-setting time.
After qualifying, Wolff admitting Mercedes need to improve massively if they want to walk away with a win at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday.
"This is a circuit we thought the Red Bulls and Mercedes would battle for pole," he said on Sky Sports F1's broadcast.
"Their car [Ferrari's] is fast, they did a good job and we have to get our act together tomorrow.
"They are gaining a few tenths on the strengths but also quick on the corners - quick everywhere. The statistics are against us but the race has not started. If Lewis is able to get a good start and Valtteri can get up a position then we're in a good position."
