Max Verstappen has found it tough in the last two races at Spa and Monza but is already looking to get back into the points at next weekends race in Singapore.

Singapore is a night race and has been since 2008 and this is something which the Dutchman is relishing.

"Singapore is a fantastic circuit and the city looks breathtaking in the evening, I can enjoy driving under the big lights.

"They give the job more character. And I like that the weekend is so different from a normal race," Verstappen said as quoted by Motortsport.com

The 21-year-old finished second in Singapore last season and will be looking to fight off the challenge of Charles Leclerc who is just two points behind him in the standings after winning the previous two races.

“The job itself is very demanding. It is warm, it is physical and you sweat a lot, but it is one of my favourites.

“You have a lot of curves, a mix of fast and slow curves plus a few medium-fast curves where you have hardly any run-off options.

"So it's a very varied circuit. "
