Kevin Magnussen has "nothing against" Nico Hulkenberg amid Haas rumours!
Kevin Magnussen has suggested that he would not try and stop Nico Hulkenberg from becoming his Haas teammate next season, if the rumours linking the German to Haas come true.
Magnussen and Hulkenberg have had a frosty relationship in the past, with Magnussen telling Hulkenberg "suck my balls" after the Renault man confronted him in the paddock following the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Haas have struggled this season and look set for a driver shake-up ahead of next season, with Romain Grosjean looking likely to move on from the team and Formula 1 after struggling again this season.
Hulkenberg has been linked with the American team, and Magnussen told Auto Motor und Sport about their Hungary 2017 clash: "The whole episode and the fact that today I am still being asked about it, shows what goes wrong in this media world. Of course I understand that people click on stories like that, but if it wasn't filmed, then Nico and I wouldn't have thought about it today."
The Dane also says that he has a lot of respect for Hulkenberg, adding: "The last thing I want to say about it is that I have great respect for Nico and I have nothing against him personally. I don't know him as a person, but I haven't heard anyone speak badly about him. That is it.
"I would not say that we have a friendly relationship. We are opponents on the circuit. Of course I have a lot of respect for his driving skills. He is a very talented, complete driver. I really have nothing against him."
