Former Ferrari boss Stefano Domenicali has spoken about the best qualities which seven-time champion Michael Schumacher possed during his career.
Domenicali was at Ferrari during the most successful period at the team for Schumacher.
He was at the team between 1991 and 2014, which included winning five world championships in a row.
"He was an amazing guy when he became world champion with us at Ferrari for so many years in a row," as quoted by Motorsport.com "He never blamed the team for any problems," said Domenicali.
"I remember 1999 when he hit Silverstone and broke his leg," he said. “At that time, there was a brake problem that caused the accident. But you never heard anything negative about it, he never said the team made a mistake, "Domenicali recalled about the incident 20 years ago.
A second important point was Schumacher's rigor. "He was never satisfied," recalls Domenicali. "He has always analyzed in detail how he and the team could keep improving."
"He introduced the various switches [at the wheel] with the engineers to make the most of the braking balance and all the configurations that exist today," explained Domenical".
The German, left the team in 2006 after winning seven world championships and it’s proved how good a driver he was by the fact that the team haven’t had a driver win the drivers’ championship since 2007.
