Mattia Binotto believes that Sebastian Vettel will have a strong end to the season and that he will perform better than he did at the beginning of the year. The Ferrari driver has failed to perform at a level he will be happy with but his boss thinks he still has what it takes and lists a few things the German is good at.

“Seb is always strong in the races," Binotto said to Motorsport.com. "He is aware that he must take advantage of his race pace in the races. So it's not very nice if you make mistakes like in Silverstone.

"Apart from that, I am very pleased: he is experienced and he knows how to manage the tires. That is really his strong point and he performs very well in that area.”

Ferrari fans will hope to see the Vettel of old after the summer break and will be wanting him to launch an attack on the Mercedes drivers and Max Verstappen.
