Leclerc: "I felt great in the car and the car felt great"
Charles Leclerc was setting benchmark times in all three practice sessions and during qualifying. But just before Q3 started, the Ferrari mechanics found a problem which prevented Leclerc from running in the all-important session.
As a result, Leclerc will start from P10 in Sunday's German Grand Prix. Leclerc admits he felt "great" in the car before the problems occurred.
"I felt great in the car and the car felt great today and all weekend, so it's a real shame," Leclerc told Sky Sports.
"I have no idea if it was the same problem [as Sebastian Vettel's issue]. It's a shame but we'll be trying to understand what happened to not reproduce. It's a difficult day for the team," Leclerc added.
