It's the final practice session in Austria before the race weekend gets underway for real. Who will take the lead into Saturday's qualifying? And will the wind continue to catch drivers out and make this session as crazy as Friday's FP2? Follow all of the important updates below. The session starts at 11am BST/6am EST.

What's happened so far?

The Mercedes mechanics had some work to do on Valtteri Bottas' car ahead of FP1. He had an oil leak but that didn't seem to cause any major problems for him in the first session. Lewis Hamilton topped the session and was followed by Sebastian Vettel.  Max Verstappen, last year's winner in Austria, spent some time at P1, but could only finish in P6.

In FP2, madness struck. The wind was catching everybody out, including the top six drivers. Bottas, Verstappen and Vettel all lost control of their cars. Bottas and Verstappen both hit the wall hard, with Vettel managing to avoid contact. It was a session for the 'number 2 drivers'. With Charles Leclerc topping the timesheet, followed by Bottas and then Pierre Gasly. McLaren again leads the midfield pack.

Anything else?

Well...teams had a vote on whether to change back to the 2018 set of Pirelli tyres but that finished up at 5 votes either side so nothing will be done. Carlos Sainz is taking a new engine this weekend, as is Alex Albon. The kerbs have been harsh around the Red Bull Ring, we lost nine front wings during the first session of the weekend.
