Australian GP FP1 Full Results | Norris immediately at the front
The first free practice session of the 2025 session has just finished. Lando Norris finishes in P1 with a 1:17.252, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
Max Verstappen finished the first session only in fifth position, while Lewis Hamilton could not complete a final lap after a yellow flag cause by his ex-teammate, George Russell. The Briton finished in P12 only in the end as a result.
The second Williams, Alexander Albon was also towards the front, finishin in P6, and also ahead of George Russell, who span on his warm up lap. Isack Hadjar was the quickest rookie, although he was not satisfied with his lap on the softs, he explained over the team radio. He finishes in P9.
Another driver that span was Oliver Bearman exiting Turn 10, and the Briton destroyed his Haas. Therefore, a long shift awaits the American team's mechanics ahead of FP2.
