McLaren is reportedly gearing up for a major announcement ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season. With a wave of recent updates across the grid—including sponsorship deals, team rebrandings, and driver confirmations—the British team appears ready to unveil something significant. Speculation is already swirling about whether this could involve a new partnership, an expansion of their driver program, or even their own car reveal.

The British Formula One team posted a mysterious image on its social media channels on Wednesday evening. If you quickly scroll past the image, you don't really notice much, except that it is a very dark graphic. But if you look closely at the image, you will see the numbers 13/02/25 appear, today's date exactly.

An hour after the first post was published, another mysterious post followed with two pictures. These photos show two figures standing completely in the dark. Based on the silhouettes, these appear to be Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. The caption reads, "In the void."

Rumour mill running at full speed

McLaren's mysterious tweets have caused a lot of speculation on social media. Fans are wondering what the constructor's champions have to announce. Could it be a hint about the livery? A new sponsor? Or something completely different?
