After losing out last year, Lando Norris has made it well known that he wants to go all the way during the 2025 Formula championship. On the British TV programme This Morning, he admitted that he was not good enough during the 2024 season, something he hopes to change.

With the RB20 having problems and the MCL38 dominating the track, Norris found himself suddenly competing for the world title. With their improved car, Norris managed to score his first-ever Grand Prix win and then three more. While the gap was steadily closing in, Norris's championship dreams were dashed after the Brazilian Grand Prix, and he had to make do with second place.

Norris: 'Didn't do a good enough job'

However, Norris did end up taking a trophy home. The constructors championship trophy. After 26 years, Norris and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri were able to win the constructors' title. What did that win mean to Norris? He said, "This is everything to me, this is what I live for, this is what I've grown up doing my whole life. It's definitely one of my dreams ticked off."

What does Norris have planned for this upcoming Formula 1 season? He mentions what the next dream he would like to tick off his list is. "The next one is obviously to try and do it myself and win the drivers [championship].  I gave it a good shot. Didn't quite get there and didn't do a good enough job. Simply, that's the honest answer. We'll try and make amends this year and step it up a gear."
