Verstappen news already leaked: Red Bull cap went on sale early

It was announced on Tuesday morning that Max Verstappen will be AlphaTauri's brand ambassador. AlphaTauri is Red Bull's clothing brand, while the Racing Bulls team also previously had the name over several seasons, replacing the name Toro Rosso. However, the collaboration had already been leaked, before Verstappen's announcement.
Verstappen collaboration already leaked
A cap for the 2025 season was already available via CMC Motorsports' site before the announcement was made. On the right-hand side of the merchandise, the AlphaTauri logo already appeared, while the sponsor announced only after that the four-team world champion would become their brand ambassador. The latest cap for the upcoming season costs £51.
AlphaTauri was founded in 2016 and has its headquarters in Salzburg, similar to Red Bull. The name AlphaTauri also featured on the grid over four seasons, from 2020 until 2023, with Red Bull Racing's sister team flying the flag for the brand. Their name later changed to Visa Cash App RB in 2024, and another name change happened in 2025, as the team will now be called Visa Cash App Racing Bulls.
Verstappen happy with AlphaTauri partnership
The Dutchman is looking forward to the partnership. "I’m excited for the new season with AlphaTauri. Their commitment to combining style with functionality fits perfectly with my lifestyle, both on and off the track. It’s great to be an ambassador. I’ve been wearing the clothing for a while and I’m very excited to see what’s coming next. For me, to be able to wear stylish clothing on and around the track, and back at home, is just fantastic. Honestly, I use it everywhere I go," the reigning Formula One world champion explained.
