Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc take to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya again on Wednesday for their second TPC (testing of the previous car) event with Ferrari. Read about the Italian F1 team's test programme here.

Hamilton and Leclerc back on track in Barcelona

Earlier, Ferrari ran a test at its own Fiorano circuit, where Hamilton drove his first laps in the Italian team's Formula 1 under the watchful eye of the tifosi. In Barcelona, the British driver will be in action for the second time in an earlier car from his new team.

On Tuesday morning, it was Leclerc's turn to clock up kilometres in the SF-23, followed by Hamilton in the afternoon. On Wednesday, the roles will be reversed as Hamilton will drive in the morning, while Leclerc will drive in the afternoon session, as is reported the Italian branch of Motorsport.com.

The third day of testing will be dominated by the team's reserve drivers. Antonio Giovinazzi and according to Autoracer.it, the Ferrari Driver Academy driver Dino Beganovic will have the opportunity to take to the track for a practice session on Thursday. For the latter, it is important to get as many laps in as possible to cover 300 kilometres so that he can potentially get behind the wheel of a Ferrari during a FP1 session in 2025.
