After hearing Zak Brown's critical comments about his racing at the Mexican Grand Prix, Max Verstappen responds. At the Mexican Grand Prix, Verstappen was heavily penalised for his actions against Lando Norris while battling on the track.

The Red Bull Racing driver recieved two 10-second penalties for his actions against Norris. After receiving the penalty, Verstappen sarcastically wondered if it would have been better to add even more time.

Brown told reporters after the Mexican Grand Prix, "Max is such an awesome racing driver; I just don't think you need to drive like that. Just drive like the world champion you are. It was unnecessary; it puts everyone at risk, and it's not clean racing."

On Viaplay's Unleash the Lion 4 documentary, Verstappen said back, "I always find that really funny to coming from someone that failed themself in racing."

"I'm fighting for a world championship; he's fighting for a world championship. Of course he defends his own driver, it's the same in my team. He will never take my side in that, he will always defend his side. So you can talk about it, but you will never have a fair opinion about stuff," Verstappen concluded.
