No rest for racing addict Verstappen: Dutchman in action at former F1 track
- Sandy van Wijngaarden
Although Formula 1 is currently in its winter break, it hasn't stopped Max Verstappen from hitting the track. On social media, the Dutchman shared images of himself enjoying the Portimao circuit with his friends.
The winter break has only just begun, but there's never a rest in the Formula 1 world, especially for the Red Bull Racing family. Since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, announcements have included the departure of Sergio Perez at Red Bull Racing and also the arrival of Liam Lawson at the Milton Keynes-based team. F2 vice champion Isack Hadjar has also been announced as his VCARB replacement.
Max Verstappen is known to still spend a lot of time racing during Formula 1 breaks. For instance, he is often active in sim racing on behalf of Team Redline. With Verstappen Racing, he also enjoys driving on real circuits in different cars.
On Instagram, the Dutchman can be seen in action in Portimao. He was pictured with Dutch DTM driver Thierry Vermeulen and Chris Lulham, a driver for Team Redline. He spent his day relaxing at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
