Sergio Perez has responded to Max Verstappen's farewell message. Verstappen called it an "absolute pleasure" to drive with Perez at Red Bull Racing, and the Mexican F1 driver responded to that message by saying he would "miss" Verstappen.

After his teammate's departure was announced, Verstappen reacted to the news. "It's been an absolute pleasure driving alongside you. We've had some amazing moments together that I'll always remember. Thank you, Checo!", the four-time world champion wrote in a post on his Instagram.

Perez then responded to the Dutchman's post. "Thank you, mate, will miss you! Keep killing it," read the Mexican's response, which has since received tens of thousands of likes. Many fans responded by commenting that they would miss the 'Chestappen' combination.

The fact that things were alright between Verstappen and Perez has been shown more often in recent times. Verstappen recently said he was happy with Perez as a teammate and defended him several times after being criticised for disappointing performances. Verstappen stressed that the problem was mainly with the car.
