Wolff slams British food and weather

Speaking to Sky Sports F1's Ted Kravitz on Saturday at Silverstone, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff revealed he still isn't used to British weather, despite having lived in the country for over a decade. "Well, I'm a bit of a Brit also now. I've been living here for 12 years. I never get used to the weather. I mean, we are July and you're running around like this [referring to his coat]."

Wolff also gave his opinions on British food, with Kravitz attempting to convince the Austrian that British food is the best. Wolff made his argument by saying "You can't compete with the Wiener Schnitzel and the sacher torte. Is there any food actually that's properly good in the UK?" Kravitz responded by saying "London is one of the gastronomic centers. We have Fischer's, a very good Austrian restaurant. We have the Delorne, very good French food."

Wolff however did admit that a British Classic is still one of his favourite meals. "The fish and chips was the highlight, it's still my favourite dish today."
