Daniel Ricciardo's season has not started well, so he is getting a new chassis. This should improve his performance. The Australian himself says he has also benefited from chassis changes in the past.

0 points after four races. That's the reality for Ricciardo. While his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, did manage to score points, the Australian has not finished in the top-ten once in 2024.

Ricciardo gets new chassis

Ricciardo has asked for a new chassis. He no longer has confidence in the chassis he is currently driving. "It's something that at least gives peace of mind," Ricciardo began. "I'll be honest it was when I won Monza [2021] they wanted to retire that chassis, so I had a different one for Russia and I was nowhere in Russia."

Ricciardo told his then team, McLaren, that he wanted his old chassis back. "The next race was Austin and we were back on it again. So yes there have been some times where I've been sceptical about some chassis."
