Another new job for former Haas team boss Steiner in Formula 1
Since his departure as team boss at Haas, Gunther Steiner has not been idle. He has since held various positions within the F1 paddock. The former team boss will now also be the face of the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.
Although his dismissal from the Haas team was unexpected, he did not mourn it for very long. In fact, he has been heard and seen as a presenter of RTL Germany since the start of the season. Furthermore, during the Australian Grand Prix, he had the honour of interviewing the top three drivers after the race.
Steiner becomes ambassador Miami Grand Prix
So now, Steiner has another job. Namely, he will become an ambassador for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. The aim is to generate even more attention for Formula 1 in the United States. The Italian will help build and promote the event, including several performances throughout the weekend.
The glitz and glamour of the US Grand Prix suits the Drive to Survive star well. Besides, he was, of course, team boss of an American team for many years. Steiner himself is very happy about the partnership. "I’m excited to serve as an Ambassador for the Miami Grand Prix which has become one of my favorite races of the year. I’ve seen first-hand the incredible growth Formula 1 has had in the United States and it has so much potential to continue growing, especially with races like Miami as part of the circuit. The event, which reflects the bold vision of the organizers, pairs American spectacle and F1 racing with a vibrant atmosphere at the track and throughout the city itself. I can’t wait to work with the team this May for what is guaranteed to be another fantastic event.”
