The spotlight just won't leave Red Bull Racing's team. The Austrian racing team has been under a magnifying glass for weeks. Max Verstappen seems to have no trouble focusing, he said in Australia.

One rumour after another have come up in recent months. The main player in this is Red Bull Racing. Several individuals in the team have already been the topic of conversation. Consequently, in the press moments with Helmut Marko, Christian Horner and also Max Verstappen, it hardly seems to be about racing.

Verstappen satisfied with Red Bull Racing's actions

You would say that at a time when there is so much turmoil within a team, it is difficult to stay focused on work. Verstappen explains that this is not the case at the Austrian racing stable. ''We all want the same. We want to just perform on track. So that's what we want to focus on as a team," Verstappen said.

The Dutchman is happy with how his team has handled the current situation, but he himself would like to stay in the background. "I don't want to always be too involved with these kind of things. Because at the end of the day I'm the driver and I'm here to look at the performance side of things. That's what I'm hired for. But from what I know everything is handled in the right way. I'm not going into any further details from that side because I don't know more than that. And I also don't want to know because that's not my job or my task within the team."

Another thing that helps the three-time world champion stay focused is the fact that he can switch Formula 1 on and off very easily. "

don't really think about F1 anyway too much when I leave the paddock. I know what I have to do but I also know with so many races in a year it's very important to also just come home and think about other stuff and be busy, he added."Verstappen has several projects he is working on outside F1, including his own racing team, Team Redline.
