Max Verstappen finished the day in third place in Saudi Arabia. Fernando Alonso ran away with the fastest time, but Verstappen is not too worried about that.

''Overall it was pretty good. Of course, FP1 is a bit slippery, but they prepared the circuit pretty well. It wasn't too dirty,'' Verstappen spoke positively about the street circuit in Jeddah. Verstappen did not finish the session fastest but was very happy with the pace in his RB20.

Verstappen the favourite in Jeddah?

''The pace was pretty good in the second free practice, in both the short and long run. We learned a lot again. There are always things you can do better over one lap, but some teams also use more power like in Bahrain. We have to take that into account as well. In the longruns, it looked good.''

The Dutchman was asked how he views the qualifying session panning out tomorrow. Verstappen said: ''I feel pretty good about that, but it will be very close again. I think other (teams) are a bit better over one lap than us, but our car comes alive in the race.''
