Toto Wolff reacted furiously to the integrity investigation announced by the FIA into him and his wife Susie - only to shut it down 24 hours later. For the motorsport federation, the matter seems completely finished. Wolff himself has certainly not forgotten.

Earlier, the Wolff family announced the need to get to the bottom of who had made the allegations into the world. Since then, things went quiet. The Gazzetta dello Sport asked Wolff about how he currently looks back on the whole affair? "I cannot speak for Susie, but she is someone who does not give up," Wolff told them.

Toto Wolff sees determined Susie

"She is very determined. It is not the first time she has faced difficulties, and she is going to get to the bottom of this. If you type Susie Wolff on the internet now, that investigation is the first thing that comes up. That can't be reversed. It has caused a lot of damage."

Speaking to the Italian medium, Wolff reiterated that he had done nothing wrong. "The investigation was opened and closed again within two days, and that is not what you expect in the world of Formula 1. If we want to further professionalise the sport, we have to be transparent and pursue the highest standards. That's how I stand on it."
