Prost lyrical about key factor Verstappen: 'I love that!'

Max Verstappen became world champion in Qatar a few weeks ago. It marked his third world title in three seasons. Alain Prost is impressed by the Dutchman, but the Frenchman with one more world title to his name than Verstappen also sees another important person in the Red Bull driver's success.
Prost thinks Verstappen's successes are very much due to Jos Verstappen, Max's father. According to Prost, the training he received from his father is unique in the Formula 1 world.
Prost: 'That's what makes Verstappen unique'
"That's what makes Max different from everyone else. There are plenty of drivers who get support from their parents of course, but the way Jos did it with Max is unique," Prost explained to De Telegraaf. "Already in the karting years. I remember interviewing Max in Barcelona after his first victory, in 2016. Even then I was very impressed by his maturity. And that as a 17-year-old," says the Frenchman.
"I still follow him [Verstappen] closely and always read what he has to say. Max is very honest and doesn't play political games. He is an open book. At the core, he is now the same Max as that boy who won his first Formula One race. You often see people change anyway, especially after winning world titles. He doesn't. I love that," Prost concluded.
