Last weekend's Italian Grand Prix proved once again to be a winner for Max Verstappen. The reigning world champion is not the only one who managed to impress the Power Rankings jury. Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz managed to keep teammate Charles Leclerc behind him during the race, putting him on the podium.

Sainz, Lawson and Albon impress at Monza

Sainz's performance is also reflected in the Power Rankings. Formula1.com's five-member jury traditionally handed out marks to Formula 1 drivers. Verstappen and Sainz both received a 9.6 for their performance on the grid Sunday. Third place after the Monza Grand Prix is for Alexander Albon, who received a 9.0.

Perhaps a notable name in the top five: Liam Lawson. As Daniel Ricciardo' s replacement, the New Zealander impressed last weekend. He scored a 7.8 in the power rankings. This is good for a shared fifth place. Sergio Perez is the other driver who scored a 7.8 for his race in Italy.
