Pirelli has announced which tyres will be driven at the Singapore, Japan and Qatar Grands Prix. These races are scheduled after the Italian Grand Prix next weekend.

Softest Pirelli tyres in Singapore

For the Singapore Grand Prix from 15 to 17 September, drivers can use the three softest tyres on the spectrum. These are the C3 (hard), C4 (medium) and C5 (soft) tyres. According to Pirelli, this is normal as the city-state circuit is a street circuit. "This combination offers maximum grip on a twisty and demanding track for the tyres like Marina Bay, especially under traction and braking."

Tyres Suzuka and Qatar harder

For the Grand Prix weekends in Japan and Qatar, Pirelli is bringing harder tyres. These are the C1 (hard), the C2 (medium) and C3 (soft), which is the same tyre combination as at Circuit Zandvoort. According to Pirelli, both circuits are very hard on tyres, making the harder part of the tyre spectrum more suitable. "Formula 1 will return for the second time in its history to the Losail circuit in Qatar, which made its debut in 2021. This is another harsh circuit on tyres with an additional unknown factor thanks to completely new asphalt", writes the Italian tyremanufacturer.
