The Belgian Grand Prix has secured its future in Formula 1. The race at Spa-Francorchamps will remain part of the calendar until 2031. View the contracts for all F1 Grands Prix here after news that one of the most iconic tracks in F1 will stay on the calendar.

The Belgian Grand Prix has signed a new deal that will see it host four Grands Prix over the next six years. In 2028 and 2030, there will be no Belgian Grand Prix, with Spa making way for another European Grand Prix in the new rotation system. It is not yet clear which Grand Prix that will be.

The Grand Prix of Las Vegas and the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, also known as Imola, are still under contract until 2025. Las Vegas is organised by F1 itself and will therefore probably remain on the sport's calendar for a longer period. Imola is still a doubtful case for now and is a possible candidate to swap places with Spa.

Circuit contracts signed for the major races

Spa is not the only track that has had a contract extension that keeps many of the marquee races in the premier class of motorsport on the calendar. In February 2024, the British Grand Prix were able to sign a ten-year contract extension with F1 and FOM, keeping the iconic Silverstone circuit in F1 until 2034 at least.

Another iconic track that needed a contract extension was the Monaco Grand Prix. There were rumblings that the glitz and the glamour of the principality may not be brought back into F1 in a bid for more exciting racing. However, in November 2024, F1 stayed loyal to the streets that everybody is familiar with, signing a new contract extension to keep Monaco on screens until 2031.

Just a matter of days later, yet another track was signed up for the future of F1. This time, it was Monza, with an agreement signed that would keep the Italian Grand Prix at the 'Temple of Speed' until 2031. Monza has always been another stalwart of the F1 calendar, and the contract extension means the iconic Tifosi will continue to paint the circuit grandstands red.

However, one iconic fan base and circuit that we will not see on the F1 calendar after 2026 is the Dutch Grand Prix. F1 and the organisers at Zandvoort agreed to extend the current contract by one more year to host the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix, but after that, there will be no more' Orange Army' filling the grandstands in the Netherlands, just six years after it made a return to the premier class of motorsport in 2021.
