Pit stops during Belgian GP: Ferrari the fastest
- Sam Godber
Red Bull Racing has set the fastest pit stop on Sunday many times this season, but in Belgium it was the Ferrari team that delivered the fastest pit stop. Charles Leclerc' s four tyres were changed in 2.19 seconds. Red Bull was five hundredths slower.
Each weekend there are points to be earned for the teams, with the top-ten getting as many points as following the official count. Ferrari grabbed a total of 29 points, Red Bull one point less after a second and fifth place finish. AlphaTauri grabbed 27 points thanks to a P3 and a P4.
With 10 Grands Prix to go in 2023, Red Bull is defending a 67-point lead. The Austrian racing stable has achieved 333 points so far, while Ferrari stands on 266 points. McLaren is number three in the standings with 161 points. Haas F1 is the straggler with just nine points.
