Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez revealed over the board radio that they were not happy with each other, but according to Christian Horner, it should not be made bigger than it is. The Red Bull Racing team boss reiterated what the rules are that are made: hard, but fair racing.

"They've spoken about it," Horner revealed to Sky Sports' cameras after the sprint race. "I think Checo had Max maybe unsighted there on the right-hand side. Thankfully they didn't collect each other and a 1-2 finish is a great result for the team." Red Bull picked up another 15 points for the constructors' championship as a result.

Red Bull's rules

Asked about how Red Bull looked at the opening round and what the Austrian racing stable's policy is on fighting with each other. "The rules are very fair, race hard but give each other space. At Turn 1 and 3 was OK, the bit in the middle was where it got a bit tasty but maybe Checo didn't see Max."

Verstappen will start the Austrian Grand Prix first on Sunday. Sergio Perez will have to make do with a fifteenth starting spot after seeing his time scrapped three times in Q2.
