Red Bull Racing is running away from the competition in the battle for the F1 world championship after the Miami Grand Prix. Once again, the Austrian racing stable scored the maximum number of points in a race weekend, already taking its lead over Aston Martin to more than 100 points.

Red Bull lord and master

For the fourth time this season, Red Bull Racing scored a 1-2 with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The Dutchman additionally picks up the point for the fastest lap, maximising Red Bull's score in Florida. Aston Martin is already 122 points behind, more than the Silverstone-based team gathered any points at all.

The battle for second place is exciting, though. Mercedes scored the most points out of these three teams in Miami, but the German team is not making up much ground. Mercedes scores 20 points, Ferrari 16, Aston Martin 15. So the three teams remain very close to each other.

The fifth team in the rankings experienced a disastrous weekend. Indeed, McLaren did not score any points and saw Alpine come level with its six points. Haas also scored another point with Kevin Magnussen. Alfa Romeo, AlphaTauri and Williams remained scoreless in Miami, leaving them still at the bottom.
