Charles Leclerc did not have a flawless second free practice in Miami. After a collision with the wall, his SF-23 was unable to continue. Nevertheless, the Ferrari driver is not gloomy, he revealed in a press release afterwards.

Will it be a repeat of last weekend? Again this weekend, the Maranello-based stable seems very fast over a single lap, but can the Italians now keep up with rival Red Bull's race pace? "The feeling in the car is good on one-lap runs," said Leclerc.

'Falling behind competition'

But can the tifosi also cheer on Sunday? "In terms of race pace, we are still lacking compared to our competitors. We are focused on closing the gap," the Monegasque sounds expectant. "Let's see what's possible on Saturday," the view quickly turns to qualifying.
