Red Bull Racing can no longer hide the RB19. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's new car takes to the track in Bahrain for winter testing and it is clear that there are quite a few changes to the car.

It was a great presentation by Red Bull in New York, but one thing viewers did not see was the new car for 2023. Red Bull did present the 'new' livery for 2023, but on the 2022 car. Fans and competitors thus still had to guess at Adrian Newey and his team's innovations for the upcoming season.

RB19 finally on display

In Bahrain, nobody can hide anymore and after Haas already presented the VF-23, pictures of the RB19 have already surfaced. Red Bull are not holding a press event so won't make the competition easily wiser, but several pictures of the new Red Bull can already be found online.

What stands out about those pictures is mainly the floor. Whereas with the entry of the new regulations, the floor actually seemed to become simpler, Red Bull's now again contains several grooves and other elements. In addition, like Ferrari and Mercedes, Red Bull has also seen the changes in the regulations around the front wing, and so there are fins on that of the RB19.

Spanish Formula 1 journalist Albert Fabrega, who is best known for his technical analysis, also took a look at the RB19 already. He noticed that the sidepods come in even further at the bottom. According to him, the so-called 'undercut' would extend all the way to the centre of the car.
