Max Verstappen keeps his holding company to which his trademark rights are attached in Luxembourg, Raymond Vermeulen confirmed in an interview with the newspaper Luxemburger Wort. Although the grand duchy decided to abolish tax benefits, the Dutchman and his team see no reason to change anything.

In the past, many celebrities decided to establish their intellectual property rights in Luxembourg, as there were big tax benefits attached. However, for such holdings, the country decided to restrict the benefits. Only people and companies that produce something in Luxembourg are allowed to continue to use them.

Vermeulen stressed to the medium that Verstappen was never concerned about the tax reasons and that he therefore sees no reason to move the trademark rights to another country. However, in doing so, Verstappen's manager gives no argument as to why Verstappen did choose Luxembourg in the past.
