Max Verstappen may be adding a Ferrari to his collection. The two-time World Champion was spotted looking at a brand new car from the Italian manufacturer at a showroom in Monaco.
Verstappen gets into a Ferrari
Verstappen was spotted checking out the new Ferrari F90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano at Scuderia Monte Carlo on Wednesday, as seen in footage on Twitter. Onlookers filmed how the curtain was pulled off the brand new car to show the model to the Dutchman, who then took a seat in the scarlet Ferrari.
The Red Bull Racing driver already owns a Ferrari 488 Pista and a Ferrari Monza SP2. The latter was produced as a limited edition and is worth around €1.6 million. It is therefore possible that a third, slightly cheaper model will be added: the SF90 Stradale would have a starting price of around half a million euros.
Incidentally, his love for the Italian cars does not mean that his interest in a Formula 1 seat at Ferrari has increased. Verstappen has a long-term contract with Red Bull that runs until the end of 2028, so a move to Maranello seems out of the question for the time being.
